Discover your life's verdict 🧑🏻‍⚖️[+FREE Romans 8 Memory Cards]

What's the verdict on your life?

Reader,

I don't know how familiar you are with U.S. legal procedures, but my first encounter with them was terrifying.

Not because I was the one standing before a judge (whew!), but because I was helping those who were.

They were entering a plea for their lives...guilty or not guilty.

In this week's post, we look deeper at Romans 8:3-4, the legal case against us, and what Christ's life in the flesh accomplished on our behalf.

If you are in Christ, the good news is the gavel has dropped, and the verdict is in.

Join me in memorizing Romans 8! I’ve created a helpful tool that divides Romans 8 into manageable sections. On each card's backside is the first letter of each verse to help you memorize. For example, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” is TITNNCFTWAICH on the back. It’s fun and makes memory work a little bit easier. Grab your own set today!

I've never been very good at it, and I've let that be my thin excuse for not trying very hard. So, to reverse that, I've decided to bite off more than I can chew. ;) I'm memorizing Romans 8 this year! Martin Luther once famously likened the Bible to a ring, the epistle of Romans to its diamond, and chapter eight, the sparkling point of the jewel. One of the benefits of...

Have yourself a blessed little Christmas Reader, You've probably heard the song "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" hundreds of times. But did you know that song was released in 1944, during WWII, when many soldiers were leaving behind the comforts of home for the ravages of war? The song points to a future hope that "From now on, our troubles will be out of sight." There's another song in the...
